Railroad

The range of railroad formulates and blends a full range of engine oil products for railroad application. 

The product portfolio includes railway diesel engine oil designed to address the EPA fuel and emission standards for 2011 and is suitable for use with current and late model EMD and GE units operating on low- and ultra-low sulphur diesel fuels.

Railroad engine oils products include high dispersant oils and will keep the by-products of combustion and oxidation finely divided and suspended. 

Railroad Engine Oils help maintain a clean ring belt area, valve deck, crankcase and piston undercrowns. 

Railroad Engine Oils have excellent alkalinity retention for acid neutralization and wear control. 

Sludge build-up due to soot and moisture contamination is minimized. 

Non-zinc formulation protects silver bearings and helps provide for minimum wear of rings, pistons and liners. 

As an added benefit, the products contain less than 10 ppm chlorine.
